January Meeting: Breakfast with Monica Malpass

The January Breakfast Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Plymouth Meeting, PA at 8:00 am. The guest speaker will be WPVI TV-6 Action News lively and knowledgeable co-anchor, Monica Malpass who will talk about The Media and the Future of Philadelphia.

Monica Malpass, who has a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.A. in Political Science from Villanova University, also anchors the political discussion program Inside Story, and authors WPVI's political podcasts, blogs, and web book reviews. An award-winning journalist -- recently inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame -- Monica is the veteran of many national and international assignments, including coverage of every election since 1988. A spokesperson for the Philadelphia Free Library, she is active in civic and charitable organizations, including the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the American Heart Association.

Breakfast with Monica Malpass is sure to be interesting, and qualifies for one hour of ASA Continuing Education Credit. The Breakfast is FREE for members and $25 for guests.
