May General Membership Meeting

The May Chapter Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The Board of Directors will meet at 5:00 pm; the general meetings starts at 6:30. The guest speaker will be John J. Barton, ASA, a Vice President at Murray Devine & Company in Philadelphia, where he performs business valuation appraisals for mergers & acquistions, buyouts, takeovers, restructurings, tax and private equity fund analyses. He will talk about Governance and the Strategic Direction of the ASA. Mr. Barton, who teaches finance to MBA candidates at Villanova, has also taught valuation for Big Four accounting firms in Cyprus, Turkey, and Finland. A popular after-dinner speaker, he writes for the Practitioners' Publishing Company, and has served the ASA on two international committees and as a valuation course instructor.
